I love fashion and music! I don't really learn new trends, I just wear what I like. I prefer style over trends. Style is forever, but trends come and go.
• Please tell us about singers and bands you are into, and why do you like them? Where do you get most of your music? (download, buy CD, take from friend, etc.)
Currently none, and probably not ever. I get music from the Radio. Light fm and Mix fm.
• Do you enjoy reading books? What are the last three books you have read?
I love books! They're interesting and my passport to somewhere else. I've read Between Assasinations, The White Tiger and Midnight's Children.
• What/where do you find new information about entertainment that you like?
E! Entertainment News! Where else? Oh, and Womens' Weekly too. :)

Day 7: I'm Here For Your Entertainment! ;)
Alrightay YouthSays! Finally I'm back from a tiring day of school and a series of tuitions - Yes, I know, not fun. :( Anyway, lets cut to the chase and skip the chit chat. I shall now move on to my 7th topic pertaining Entertainment!
Which are your favorite TV shows and how do you watch them (TV, Youtube, download, friend, stream)?
Well, I have plenty of TV shows and movies which I love to watch. I'm not really into those soap operas and long, winding Korean dramas, however, I am a huge fan of TV series like Desperate Housewives, Scrubs, NCIS and Lost! You might be surprised, but I actually I download most of the TV shows I watch. Where you might ask? I got la my own sources ;) As for Youtube and streaming videos, I'd really love to stream all those viral comedy videos, but the broadband speed in Malaysia is just pathetic laa. Infact, its so pathetic that often get ticked off so much so I don't even bother to watch the vids my friends recommend me. As much as I would love to. :( Just a shoutout to Streamyx, DO SOMETHING ABOUT INTERNET SPEED :S And not to forget, my one true love, the television! Of course, I do follow my beloved American Idol on TV and football on ESPN! The football channel is the window to a guy's soul. ;) Remember that :D

Yeah! Of course I do! What kind of teen doesn't like music and fashion? Aside from those of yall, who have been hiding under a rock for the past 7 years :D Well, I'd say none of the above. Most of my music and fashion choices are based on personal observations on trends and what I feel suits my mood I guess? Nevertheless, if I find something a celebrity wears looks good for example, my fashion sense would probably sway towards that direction. Just saying, Adam Lambert's sense of dressing is – WOW. :D Eventhough, the poor dude is a gay, he sure knows how to dress folks!

What kind of music I like? That's an interesting question. :D I'm more into rock, RnB and pop music just cos I find it has a really quick beat to it unlike the oldies music our parents' generation used to listen to. Just to drop some names, I like music by Falloutboy, Linkin Park, Bruno Mars, Lady GaGa, Beyonce and ooohh, ooh! Jason Mraz :D I totally understand that each one of us have different tastes, I quote my English teacher "One man's meat is another man's poison" ! (Just a note, she said this when I questioned her about her choice of hot men :D) Hmm...... Honestly, music made available to us online through music streaming services like Kazaa, Napster and iTunes are just unfeasible for us teens. We don't have the money nor the responsibility to be left alone to make online purchases for music. So, us teens turn to Limewire for our music! :) Free music of high quality is the definition of Limewire and I can safely say that practically easily 70% of PC's in Malaysia have Limewire.

I'm not really much of a fan of books.. Books are my sworn enermy! Hehe! Just joking :D Well, if you asked some of my friends, they'd probably say the last 3 books they read were Bio, Chemistry and Physics reference books. However, I'm pretty much an all rounder and I don't indulge in interlectual reading material. So, to fill up my time I read fictional sci-fi books. Right now, I'm reading the Demonata Series of Darren Shan and let me tell you, its pretty good stuff!
What/where do you find new information about entertainment that you like?
The INTERNET! The Internet is basically the marketplace for all the latest news, trends and fads in the world! Just from Twitter itself, just by merely checking the trending topics for the day, you can find out what's in trend and what news is outdated. The internet is my resource for entertainment news. I know it, you know it, we all know it ;) Google baby, GOOGLE!

Entertainment is my remedy…
Bila bercerita tentang hiburan, aku akan mengatakan hiburan aku adalah menonton cerita dan mendengar muzik.. favourite tv show yang aku minat... selalunye aku akan menonton drama jepun dan j-drama yang paling aku minat ialah my boss my hero.. sekarang ni aku gemar tgk anime pulak... anime paling best bagi aku, school rumble.. cerita pasal student sekolah dengan masalah mereka masing2.. memang kelakar anime tu. Aku dapat semua cerita tu dengan mendownload... kadang2 aku ambik cerita2 tu dari kawan..
Muzik dan fashion... sangat berkait rapat.. aku suke muzik, tapi kurang minta dengan fesyen.. aku akan pakai pakaian yang mane membuatkan aku selesa. X suke sangat terikat dengan fesyen or motif. Aku suke muzik R&B and rap.. dan selalunye aku belajar trend baru dari kawan2.. tapi aku bukan suke pun nak ikut. Just ambil tahu supaya tak dikategorikan sebagai out-dated.. hehe.. kadang2 tengok gak magazine2 tentang trends masa kini. Tapi, tengok je la..
Penyanyi dan band yang aku minat... Kanye West, Black Eyed Peas, Eminem adalah penyanyi yang aku minat.. Suke dengar lagu diorang, kadang2 memberi motivasi yang tinggi walaupun dalam word yang agak kasar.. Kat tempat aku memang susah nak dapat CD diorang, jadi aku download je album diorang kat internet, mudah dan tidak menyusahkan.. tapi kalau album tempatan macam seven collar t-shirt and bunkface, aku akan cari albumnye sampai jumpe..
Reading?? I enjoy it.. but aku selalunye bace surat khabar je.. kalau bace buku or novel, aku kurang minat.. selalunye aku bace magazine macam Kreko, ROTTW, Wisel dan macam2 la.. sekarang ni aku cube nak bace buku autobiografi Jamie Carragher, pemain bola sepak England.. Last three book i have read... x ingat la.. buku2 pelajaran time matrik dulu kot..
Informasi terkini yang paling aku percaya ialah surat khabar, kalau tak de kat newspaper baru aku cari kat internet.. kebanyakan info memang aku dapat dari internet. Kalau nak dengar lagu2 inggeris baru.. buka je web billboard.com. pastu carila. Nak dengar lagu, buka radioblog... Mudah bukan?? Internet memang banyak membantu...

~Favourite TV Shows~
I have many TV shows that I love to watch and I would be running out of pages if I am to list down all of them here~ Still I'll tell you,I don't watch TV anymore lately,instead,I watch TV shows via computer~ My TV is just so outdated,it is a 14" and shaped like a box and compared to my computer with a LCD monitor of 21",of course I would be preferring the later~ XD
So,I will just list down a few of them that I really really enjoy such as Charmed Ones, Weeds, Merlin, CSI (any version,there're just too many), Bones, Numbers, Prison Break, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Stargate and a lot more!
I watch most of them initially on TV,but I often miss some episodes which I'll later recover back by watching them on youtube or download them directly (not from youtube since the quality sucks) or even buy DVD~ Some of my friends also downloaded these TV shows, so I'll just have my copy of them~
~Music and Fashion~
This is the most interesting question of all. I am a huge fan of both music and fashion. Well, music is the food for the soul. Why did I phrase it in that way is because I believe that music has a huge influence on human moods. It’s like when you are happy, you listen to Bubbly by Colbie Caillat and when you are sad you tend to listen to songs like, Beautiful by Christina Aguilera or Jumping into rivers by Diana Vickers and be okay again right away! (This is my friend's suggestion) My fashion sense would mostly be influenced by my peers who happened to be influenced mostly by the celebrities and fashion magazines. However,I am not a fashion victim. Regardless of my friend's habit to buy a fashion magazine (namely Cleo) and I happened to flip pages by pages just to check out the new items, I will certainly wear it in my own way. And my secret is, to put back the last thing you put on your body (this is actually a quote from of the biggest fashion designers alive, I think he’s Alexander McQueen but-ah! I am not sure myself now!).
~Singers and Bands~
Well,I'm an all rounder in this field,since I love singers and bands from the east,but there are also some singers and bands from the west that attracted me~ As for the eastern region, it'll be YUI,Makino Yui,Horie Yui,Jyukai,Aya Hirano,Elisa,Rie Fu, Mami Kawada, and KOTOKO for the singers and as for the bands, they are Asian Kungfu Generation, FLOW, UVERWORLD, Back-on, Orange Range, Skoop on Somebody, Wonder Girls and more~
The singers and bands from western region which I am into are rnb singers and those who have great voices like Beyonce, Avril Lavigne, Taylor Swift, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Clarkson and many others too which I forgot the names~ ;P
Honestly,I don't buy CD from the stores because of the price. So sorry to say that I supported piracy in this field. I usually downloaded them myself for the J-POP and K-POP songs and as for the English songs, I usually get myself a copy from my friends via bluetooth~ XD
~Books and Informations~
Yeah,of course I do enjoy reading books too since books can provide me with a lot of info I want and need to know regarding of my interests~ I am into entertainment magazines like Gempak and also some knowledge source magazines like Reader's Digest as most of its articles are very interesting plus the nice pictures in it.

•Apakah rancangan TV kegemaran anda dan bagaimanakah anda menontonnya?
Rancangan tv kegemaran saya seperti House ,Leverage,csi, Ninja wrior, Merlin dan juga raja lawak hahaha kelakr tak ingat...... saya menonton dari tv, apabila ingin melihat episod lepas saya akan melihat youtube dan kadangkala saya juga stream..... Sekiranya episod itu best saya akan download dan menyimpanya..... Sekiranya saya terlalu sibuk untuk melakukan aktiviti saya tidak perlu risau ketinggalan episod kerana boleh menontonnya diinternet.....
• Adakah anda meminati muzik dan fesyen? Di manakah anda pelajari tentang trend terbaru dalam muzik dan fesyen.
Siapa yg tidak meminati muzik dizaman sekarang manusia semangnya mengemari muzik sejak zaman dulu lagi..... Fesyen sy kurang minat sy kerana sy simple saja.....Trend terbaru saya selalu lihat didalam tv dan juga majalah seperti Galaxie,fhm.... Di internet saya membuak portal hiburan seperti gua , murai dan banyak lagi..... Saya juga mengunakan youtube bagi mencari lagu baru dan videoclips terbaru.....

Jason Myrazz kerna lagu yang rilek serta happy go sikapnya yg happy go lucky serta tidak banyak membuat hal untuk mencari publisiti, group indie tempatan seperti Hujan, MUH,Sixth sense....hujan lagunya banyak menceritakan pengalaman dan peristiwa didalam hidup manakala MUH lagunya lebih banyak kepada isu semasa , Sixth sense pula lagu cinta tidak kesampaian dan lagu yang menyentuh perasaan.....
Saya selalu download dan juga bluetooth lagu daripada handphone , peranti muzik rakan rakan dan juga ahli keluarga..... Sekiranya lagu-lagu didalam album itu sempoi saya tidak kisah mengeluarkan wang untuk membeli Cd dan yang penting lagunya best.....

Found it while scouring the discerning album reviews on Pitchfork.com. This site contains little snippets of each song in whatever album they’re reviewing. THE place to find something unusual. Bugged my friend, Su Yuen, from college, who has heard of them, and she Dropbox-ed it to me! (more on that later)
Of Men and Angels, by The Rocket Summer. The best one man band around; a one man band is basically music that is written and often (supposedly) produced by, you guessed it, one man. Or woman, I’m no sexist. My friend Julian has been flooding me with his geekiness and music since 2003. Many thanks. Also Dropbox-ed. (wait for itttt)
Chopin, The Greatest Hits. No elaboration here, it’s a classic. From Joshua dearest, through (you guessed it) Dropbox.
DROPBOX is a phenomenal file syncing program which, when installed into your PC, appears as a Dropbox Folder, and is basically just any old Windows Explorer folder. Only, once you choose to sync (share) a file with a friend who also has Dropbox, anything either of you drag and drop into that folder is immediately sync-ed! And I mean anything. It’s perks? Entertainment For Your Entertainment
Entertainment is a very subjective matter. What is entertaining to one may not be entertaining to others. Many people stay up all night to watch football, whereas I can literally fall asleep before the match has even begun. On a more gruesome note, serial killers may find murder entertaining, while most of us can hardly imagine it. I find web design really fun, but my lecturer can be heard exclaiming, "That petty semi-colon was the thing that ruined my entire site?!"
Oh, and, while many of you can immerse yourselves in the world of comic books for days, I'll die even if one comes near me. Comics are boring, novels rock my socks. Now flame away.

The Nanny (TV)
I've watched like six reruns already and I'm still laughing! This show is what makes what I just said above totally irrelevant. It is THE entertainment for everybody and anybody.

First of all, I must say that I'm in love with everything medieval. Their costumes are SO awesome and their custom and accents can make my heart melt. I just love their lifestyle then; slow, peaceful and with the most handsome princes. I wonder if all the princes are really that handsome in the past. I mean, all princes portrayed in movies are always drop dead gorgeous. Like the one in Merlin. If I ever get to travel through time in the future, I'd be really disappointed if I find a prince that looks like an ogre. But there must be some truth to their looks, right? I mean, how can hundreds of movies and TV shows be wrong? I think I'm in denial. No, wait. I can't be in denial because there is nothing to deny because there is still a chance that the princes in the past are really handsome.
I really should stop before I blabber more nonsense.
The Legend of Aang (TV and download)
Anyone who knows me would know that I hate watching anime, because to me, anime = manga = comic = don't like. But when I was bored one day, I turned on Nickelodeon to see if Fairly Odd Parents were on. They weren't, so I watched this. The storyline rocks and I have downloaded all the seasons, which took up few gigs of my hard drive. I've yet to complete watching it, but I plan to one day.
The Oprah Winfrey Show (TV)
This show is kinda cool because it gives me lots of general knowledge. But I don't like it when she invites celebrities and also the days when she does home design because I lack interest in these areas. I also don't like when she interrupts her guests because then what's the point of inviting guests? Who's listening to whose talk?

Admittedly, I'm not one who's crazy about music and fashion. But of course, one has to wear something and have something to listen to on the one-hour journey to college. As I've mentioned in my first post, I love to wear what I think looks good, not what people think looks good, i.e., I don't follow trends. Just as an example, let me describe what I wore to college today. I chose a white blouse with a zip, two huge elegant-looking buttons and huge elegant collars. I don't even care if I'm the last person ever to have listened to the song. I just have to love the tune of it, that's all.

I found this Gothic metal band a few years ago which I really like - Within Temptation. As scary as the genre may sound, the tune is actually awesome! The lead vocalist is Sharon den Adel and her voice is better than all the American Idols combined. The notes she can hit are so high I think even metal can shatter.
The lyrics on the other hand can be quite eerie as it's quite pessimistic as it often times talk about shattered hearts and how the world is going to end. But the tune is so good that I can totally ignore what the lyrics say, even if it talks about sending angels to hell.
I get most of my music through downloading. I mean, seriously, who in Malaysia doesn't? A diagram to ponder:

I'm still kind of a romance novel person, despite my age. Plus, I also love reading about fantasy, because I just love to imagine how our world would be like if these fantasies were real.

1. The Secret
First off, I must say that this is quite an expensive book, even when I got it at the MPH warehouse sale. This book basically talks about believing what you want to achieve and the force of the universe will ultimately guide you to your dream. I feel that it is quite repetitious throughout as it mostly revolves around the same point, 'believe that you can achieve whatever you want'. Nonetheless, it is quite a good read as phrases from it will somehow pop into my mind when I'm being pessimistic.
2. Vampire Kisses
Okay, I understand that the question says 'three books', but I feel that these 3 should be considered as one since they are so short individually and the story has continuation. Anyway, the story is about a girl called Raven who likes everything Goth - black platform boots, black lipstick, black blouse, black skirt, black everything. Kind of like me, except I do wear blouses of different colours (though, I only wear black pants, shoes and hair accessories). Then there's this hot guy (of course he has to be hot, else no one would read the book, right?) who moved into her 'dullsville' who was all Goth too. Then she fell for him, he fell for her and she finally discovered that he's a vampire.
Yeah, I know. Typical of vampire stories, so much so that I can make it up without buying the book. But I just love to read how different authors describe their fantasies differently, which sort of fuels the details of my imagination.
3. Night World
I've only read these two books of the 10 in the Night World series. There are three stories in each book which are completely independant of each other. All kinds of fantasy creatures are featured in these stories; angels, werewolves, vampires, witches - you name it, they have it. Though, I doubt I'll get another book in this series because I think the stories are too short. I prefer long stories with hundreds of chapters because I don't like stories to end. Like TV dramas, I feel sad when a good story ends. Nobody wants a good story to end. If it's possible, I'll want to follow a character throughout his or her life and read about the obstacles he/she have to face. They should also write eternal novels for immortal creatures!
What/where do you find new information about entertainment that you like?
The internet is definitely the best place to find anything. It is like a combination of all the newspapers and magazines in the world. Besides, online information is usually released way before a magazine or a newspaper is published. If you like a certain artist, you can just subscribe for e-mail updates at the artist's site and get free lifetime updates in your e-mail. There should be no reason at all for anyone to buy magazines and waste trees anymore.

I've watched like six reruns already and I'm still laughing! This show is what makes what I just said above totally irrelevant. It is THE entertainment for everybody and anybody.

First of all, I must say that I'm in love with everything medieval. Their costumes are SO awesome and their custom and accents can make my heart melt. I just love their lifestyle then; slow, peaceful and with the most handsome princes. I wonder if all the princes are really that handsome in the past. I mean, all princes portrayed in movies are always drop dead gorgeous. Like the one in Merlin. If I ever get to travel through time in the future, I'd be really disappointed if I find a prince that looks like an ogre. But there must be some truth to their looks, right? I mean, how can hundreds of movies and TV shows be wrong? I think I'm in denial. No, wait. I can't be in denial because there is nothing to deny because there is still a chance that the princes in the past are really handsome.
I really should stop before I blabber more nonsense.
The Legend of Aang (TV and download)
Anyone who knows me would know that I hate watching anime, because to me, anime = manga = comic = don't like. But when I was bored one day, I turned on Nickelodeon to see if Fairly Odd Parents were on. They weren't, so I watched this. The storyline rocks and I have downloaded all the seasons, which took up few gigs of my hard drive. I've yet to complete watching it, but I plan to one day.
The Oprah Winfrey Show (TV)
This show is kinda cool because it gives me lots of general knowledge. But I don't like it when she invites celebrities and also the days when she does home design because I lack interest in these areas. I also don't like when she interrupts her guests because then what's the point of inviting guests? Who's listening to whose talk?

Admittedly, I'm not one who's crazy about music and fashion. But of course, one has to wear something and have something to listen to on the one-hour journey to college. As I've mentioned in my first post, I love to wear what I think looks good, not what people think looks good, i.e., I don't follow trends. This one i watch it from tvduck. Cause i only 8tv has this show in Malaysia ( i think ) . hahaha. I love this show bcause at the end of every episode they will share a quote which was awesome for me !
