I got hair extensions.!
And it's like so cheap in Singapore la.
I did 8 strands of lala pink and 4 strands of lala green, all for only $12!
It's located at some mall at Orchard road, it's called northwest, or southeast or eastwest or something like that.

Singapore sale seems to be a really expensive sale at the moment. I spent my day on Bugis Streets instead. There's one lane there called the $10 dollar street. EVERYTHING is 10 bucks. Damn nice. Floral dresses, high waist pants and all.

This is my last post here (mutters:thank God).
Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to find a wifi spot in Singapore? (something to think about when you're looking who to give the extra cash from the 5 drop outs to)
I mean honestly there's the news about how the whole singapore is wifi-ed and all but what they DON'T tell you is that you have to PAY FOR IT.
Yes, i'm a cheapskate and would rather spend my cash on Cotton On and Hair extensions so yes, i'd rather go around asking every shop if they proive FREE wifi.

1 Malaysia

If I ter-type and like cause some national drama ah, I refuse to go to jail because I was ASKED to blog about my Opinions on 1 Malaysia. so yeah, put the Youtsays ppl in jail (tsk.)

Okay here goes, I think 1 Malaysia is what the government is using to put on a show to the other countries that we're progressing and being a democratic nation (though i beg to differ)


NOW WAIT.... STOOOPP.. don't criticize me now, or YET. Hear me out.
I'm not criticizing the 1 Malaysia concept, I'm criticizing the way the government is running it.

1 Malaysia, by itself, is genius. It brings the sense of togetherness and bond between the citizens.It's a step ahead for the country to create tighter relationships between it's people which leads to greater accomplishments for the country.
But in my opinion, the 1 Malaysia concept can only be applied in Malaysia when the whole "special privileges to Muslims" thing is stopped.

I mean the fact that the government is still giving special privileges to a specific group of people in the country is already contradicting the 1Malaysia concept.
No I'm not dissing the muslims here (so no throwing eggs and shoes at me). If you're going to be giving special privileges to Muslims,fine with me, then give the other citizens special privileges too (and I'm not talking about McD vouchers here).

The whole thing about how we "owe" it to the Muslims since their fore fathers allowed the Chinese and Indians to reside in Malaysia is a grandfather story la.
Yes, I will respect and thank you're fore fathers for being so gracious but IT'S ALL OF US (MALAYS, INDIANS AND CHINESE) WHO BROUGHT UP THIS COUNTRY.

If the government is going to bring up the story of our Muslim fore fathers every time the Muslim's Special Privileges is questioned,then by all means,please stay in wooden houses because that's where your fore fathers stayed, please watch black and white tv, please use telegrams to communicate and please don't sleep with air con.

Sounds absert doesn't it?
Why is it that today we stay in brick houses? Why do we use the internet and mobile phones to communicate? Why do we have satellite tv?

BECAUSE WE HAVE PROGRESSED

and in the same way,our government policies should progress.

I will not categorize the different races in the country and state what I think of them because they are all similar to me, they are Malaysians. I don't think any race is superior to the other. One race might be getting better treatment, but when we're all stripped down and naked, we're all the same.

Yes, there's definitely tension between the races in the country. That's what you get when you give special privileges to one race and not the others. It's the same when you have kids, you don't give only 1 child special attention.
So duh, there's tension in the country and THE GOVERNMENT ASKED FOR IT.

I think about my race before my country. I can't help it.
The government is already giving special treatment to 30% of the nation. It's a duh factor that the rest of the 70% will start to look out for themselves and that includes putting their race before the country.
Why? Because the government caused that divide between the citizens in the 1st place.

If something is not done soon, I see Malaysia becoming smaller and smaller. I see citizens of all races leaving for other countries. I've spent 5 days in Singapore so far and have already met a bunch of Malaysians with Singaporean PR's (and these people are of different races)

and that's all for 1 Malaysia. I'm not going to answer the last question cause my answers won't be very polite.Now seriously.

We Malaysians have already risen up, we're waiting for the government to come along.

Cotton On craze

The Singapore Sale has started!! and I'm excited!
Asia Conference has been great so far.
People are flocking in by the thousands as I'm blogging thru microsft.

I nearly died today.
Okay, no exaggeration, but yeah, I thought I saw the white light.
I was in the City Hall Mrt station where I had to change trains.As soon as I got off the train I was in, the train on the opposite track was leaving. So I did what every kiasu Chinese person would do- I MADE A RUN FOR IT (which by the way has to be the stupidest thing EVER).

And guess who got sandwiched in between the MRT doors? Yes, me. I'm never going back to City Hall again just in case they had a vidoe footage of it and they play in every night under "stupid Malaysians UNLEASHED"

So getting back to the main point why I'm blogging,


I can totally live without branded products. As long as I have something comfortable and nice to cover my crucial areas; I'm fine.Whether a product is branded or not, I think it comes down to the comfort and versatility of the clothing.

I mean if Versace came out with a shirt at it was going on a crazy discount of RM100 but it looked and feels like cardboard, I wouldn't buy it and vice versa.

I don't think any brand reflects me really, but if I had to choose one, it would be F.O.S

It's practical, simple and comfortable.and it's cheap la.
No wait, I'm not saying that I'm cheap. But ya la, i like it because I'm into cheap things.

In my opinion, Body Shop is one brand who has their business principles clearly stated for their customers.


Within minutes of entering the shop, you'll know that
1. Their against animal testing
2. They want to protect the endangered wild life species3. They recycle
4. They Protect Women rights
The best brand I can think of that communicates with the youths is MTV.

Do you know that an average teenager spends 6 hours a day watching TV?
and that 90% of the youths today has watched MTV at least once?

It's not that MTV's advertisement are out of the world (though some credit has to be given for the creativity) but it's how MTV itself (the brand) has already been established among the youths from years ago.

There's no question on whether you "accept" MTV or not (well unless you're in some religious cult and they say that TV is like demonic or something). MTV has been able to slip into the lifestyles and become part of the norm for the youths of today.

My favorite (note: Singular) brand ever is Cotton On.


ZOMG if you've never heard of it, you must live in like India or something.

It has the most comfortable, practical , colorful, stylish and affordable clothes in the history of mankind (i mean. we don't know if dinosaurs wore clothes mah)

Just before my trip to Singapore I did my "Cotton On research" which consist of finding out the location of EVERY Cotton On store located in singapore.
It's my 5th day here so far, and I've visited about 7 Cotton On shops so far.and *gasp* NO, they aren't all the same. Well, at least in my eyes they aren't la.

Cotton on has robbed me of my earnings from blogging here. (seriously, i took a loan from my mom, so you guys better pay me for this shit)

About a week a go, I had an assignment from my Advertising class to dig out any type of advertisement that catches my eye.I was trying to filter which one to put here, and they're all so good, I'm gonna show you more than 2.

No there's not particular brand that I'm embarrassed of using and no, religion does not influence the choice of brands I use.
I mean ya la, of course I don't go around wearing some Nazi brand or support some "Kill all Indonesians" campaign just because a brand I like is running it. That's common sense.
(no offense, no hatred towards indons, I actually think you're christian guys are pretty hot)

I find out information about new products from friends. I mean who doesn't la.Like damn sad right if you don't have friends.
Other than that, you get news on facebook, but then again, that's because you're FB friends tell you about it, so it comes back to your friends.

HELLO, today, together with another 22,276 people from 70 different countries,I attended my 1st day of Asia Conference 2010 and it was awesome!!


Oh and i saw Hannah Tan!! In the conference la, like right in front, while me and the other thousands off people were like crazy back. I swear the guys were like

"SHIT HANNAH TAN IS HERE!Bro TELL ME HOW I LOOK"

I watched my 1st ever Indie Show.


I think it's Indie la. It looks Indie enough. The colors are indie. The music is indie-ish and Joanna says it's indie. and and and it was part of the Sundance Film Festival Thing. So yeah. It's Indie!

The Story: It's about this guy who believes in true love who is totally into this weirdly one-of-a-kind-girl (she shouts 'Penis' in the park). One day out of a blue she just dumps him. (and she gets engaged to someone else, that B*tch) So this guy is left dumb-founded and he decides to reflect back to the days they were together t to see what went wrong.Why watch it? It was nominated for 2 Golden Globes. So it's good la. And make sure you buy the Dvd with proper subtitles.

I’m in SINGAPORE!! And the weather here is burning HOT.

My top 5 favourite tv shows are (in no order)

1.Chuck (I want to marry this guy)2. Leverage 3.Friends
4.Gossip Girl
5.Desperate Housewives


I watch them on TV lah. It’s only when I’m really desperate that I’ll search for them on the net. DVD’s and Astro is way more efficient. I mean if you watch shows on the net you have a crazy small screen and sometimes the sound ain’t loud enough so you have to wear earphones and then the lighting is a bitch so you have to keep on moving the computer screen up and down. And in the end,you hilang mood to watch anything.

I’m okay with music and fashion, but I don’t think it’s something I keep up to. In terms of clothing, I love anything that looks nice and is comfortable. I try to keep up with trends. But usually I end up blending back in to the *simple and nice* state. I get up-to-date with the latest trends by gorgeous girlfriends and magazines. (but more credit is given to my girls)



I like Switchoot , I like they’re songs. I have practically all they’re albums in my Ipod. But here’s the funny thing, I have NO idea what they look like. It never occurred for me to check them out-like seriously. But their music is pleasing to the ears. It’s something about the melody to their music that catches my attention. It’s kind of weird and gloomy but yet in a very interesting way.

There’s another local artist that I enjoy listening to. In fact, I just attended her concert in KL about a month ago. It was her 1st debut in Malaysia and it took quite a lot of convincing for my parents to finally allow me to go.*muka bangga*.Her music has this jazzy and acoustic feel to it. Wanna guess who she is? (Okay la, you have no choice)

I found out about her and Swithfoot by the same friend actually. A really good friend who is up-to-date with EVERY genre of music that’s around. (No shit, he even listen to African jazz, never knew it existed)

Yes, I do read books. I read as much as possible. So at least when I’m stuck with some really boring person, I have something to talk about with them. (And that happens quite a lot)

The last 3 books I read was:

Have a Little Faith (1st read)
By: Mitch Albom, some of the rare genius authors out there that can really reach out to touch the heart of his readers. I’m actually still in the midst of reading this. Think I’ll be finishing it in about 2 weeks or so. Depends on how much free time I’ve got in Singapore (and with the fact that the Singapore Sale has just started, I doubt I’ll be done anytime soon).


This book is somehow alike his 2nd book, Tuesday with Morie, just that it’s with different characters and is learning different things la. So if you enjoyed Tuesdays with Morie, I bet you’ll enjoy this too.

Those Faraday Girls (the 2nd read)
By : Monica Mclnerney. This book was actually semi stolen by me. How do you semi steal a book you ask? Well, you go up to your dad’s hotel’s reading shelf. Then you ‘borrow’ a book and never return it again. It’s not exactly counted as stealing since it belongs to your dad and everything that belongs to him is kinda, sort of yours right??


This book is a story about a big family of 5 girls and their dad and what keeps their bond lasting. It’s exactly the kind of book you want lying around in your handbag when you’re in a waiting line or during a bus ride.

By: Cecelia Ahern. OMG. THIS book has to win an award for being able to mind fuck all its readers. I mean the emotional roller coaster is puts you on is sick (in a good way).


I remember reading this book in a bar during happy hour, and right in the middle of everyone, I burst out crying. Mom thinking I was acting weird snatched the book from me and started to it read to, and as soon as you knew it, you had two grown women crying like babies in the middle of the bar. People there must have thought we were like lonely despo ppl that just got dumped by their lovers :S

Where do I find information on entertainment that I like?

Friends mostly. I mean I stay in Ipoh la. The only entertainment there is for us is Yam Cha sessions. Which is rather sad, but yeah, we’re surviving .
