One for all and all for one?
1 malaysia is a slogan taken right from 1 israel? I don’t know you tell me. I personally don’t believe in this 1 malaysia campaign. They say it’s political-based campaign. I don’t know about that. Salam 1 malaysia? Like what is that really? It’s not even a proper greeting. But well, since there is such campaign that’s trying to unite us all, there’s no harm in supporting it eh?
Prediction prediction. I see it. Yes, I see it.
Haha. Guess what? Now you don’t need to pay a clairvoyant or a bomoh to predict the future since you can do it yourself. Cool huh? Yeay! *clap* so, hmm Malaysia in another 5 years? Well here’s my forecast.
Malaysia’s politic stays the same, sucks big time. The rich get richer and fatter, the poor stays poor and skinny. More babies aborted, abandoned, buried alive. Dead environment, more animal extinction.
That, is what’s going to happen if we don’t make a change now.
See me see you.
I heard foreigners saying malaysia’s a beautiful and peaceful country and the citizens are very friendly and polite and all other nice things except the part when we are on the road. Malaysians tend to be scary when they’re on the road. Well that is something I’d like to agree with. How I’d like them to view us? well, of course all the good things lah.
Being Malaysians.
Imagine being a cat in a big city with everyone around. Look up, what can you see? Arse and more arse right? Well now, being a cat, you dont, you cant stereotype and be racist because all you can see is butt not the color of the people’s skin and all butts look pretty much the same from your view aye. So here i am saying is, let us consider that everyone is the same. By this i mean, take Malaysian as a race instead of nationality. Don’t get me the wrong way. My point is just look at everyone as Malaysians instead of filtering them by ethnicities. Maybe then we can all unite? God what am I saying, I pun tak tau. Anyway, I dont know that is just a suggestion, my 20cent worth of point of view.
Conclusion
Malaysia is a country with various ethnicities, diversity cultures. Well, you guys know that right. There’s Iban, Dayak, Malay, Indian, Chinese, Penan, and a lot more to mention. Im sure you guys know that too. Anyway, eventhou we all live different lifestyles, one thing I found common is that we all live in a place called Malaysia; we all stand on the same ground named as Malaysia. There is no need to fight one another, make peace, look out for each other and we can live harmoniously and prosperously.
Gosh, only God knows how glad I am this is over. zz

topshop from US or topsgirl from Malaysia?
my sisters are always at each other’s end when it comes to shopping. both have different view about it. along, like my dad prefers the imported goods. the one with recognized brand. she believe in buying one expensive stuff which would last for years. angah on the other hand opposes that idea much. angah, like my mum prefers buying not-so expensive item because to how she looks at it, if you buy expensive things, unless you got the money, there's limited choice to what you can buy. if you get something cheaper, you'd get to buy more things.
i think i belong to the in the middle group. personally saying, i do like branded stuff. i mean, if you can afford it, why not? but then basically, brands or labels should be of not that much of importance. what really does matter is the quality of the item. will the item last long or would it wreck after just a few days? of how i see it and what i think other people should know too is that label doesnt always guarantees longer shelf life and make it worth the pay.
how i get information about products that i like? it's either by experience or featured in magazine or suggested by friends.
i trust you.
-cardigans are my must haves and most of it comes from cotton on. the quality is good, it lasted long and they are affordably cheap. to me la.
-i like ice cream ! one of my favourite would be magnolia's tropical sling red bean ice cream potong. delicious, cheap and more red beans init compared to other brand.
-i am a klutz always dropping things and of all the things one of it would be my phone. you say it, tar road, cement floor, bricked based floor. i've dropped it nuuumerous times, yet it still keeps on working. the only time it stops serving me is when i accidentally make a swim in a drain. no phone survives swimming in drain or drinking milo. that, people you should know. that is why i like nokia.
well that's pretty much all i can think for now.
moving pictures in big black boxes.
BESAR PUNYA ! i like the maggi asam pedas advert but somehow i cant find the video. maybe the thing is there but i just cant find it but nevermind that. i find the ad funny, creative and it just amuses me. maggi certainly did a good work on that adv. i like it very much.
Sorry i only have one favourite tv comercial.
yo! that embarassing.
a label embarrasses me? unless the thing im wearing is a fake, no. im more embarrassed be seeing wearing an obviously faux brand item rather than a non-label item. imagine bumping into another girl and she's using a real thousand bucks coach handbag and you're wearing the exact same thing except for yours is a fake written roach on the mark. that's why i'd avoid using a fake brand for they make it obvious that it's a fake.
ban israel !
religion does and supposed to influence my choice of brand. i know i should stop using stuff that is israel-related as it contributes to zionis attack on muslims in palestin. like kotex nokia and nestle. they say by using israel products, i'd contribute my share in the mass killing. i certainly wouldnt want that. i wish i could stop using all of those things and stop the war, but these items have been in the family since forever. it's hard to stop using everything completely, but what can be avoided from usage is avoided at all cause.

online.
im on a 3 months holiday. i wish to make the 91 days fly faster but then that doesnt happen. so what i do every day is, online of course. how many hours? as little as half an hour and up to 5 hours per day. i dont really have things to do online but the same applies when im offline. so usually i'd tumblr browsing or facebook stalking or skype with people or download songs or googling unimportant stuff. that is pretty much everything.
Going anonymous.
I only use my real name on websites that i trust. And i dont reveal much of my personal info init. There are scammers and such bad guys everywhere, even in the cyber world. To be general these bad guys would use and manipulate your infos for their own benefit. Nowadays, you just cant trust everyone. so to be on the safe side, using alias would be the best choice.
Hi im alya. You are?
I certainly have made much friends online. Take arif wajidi. we knew each other thru myspace on December 2007. Our first conversation was about our reviews on amy winehouse’s songs. We enjoyed the little chit chat much, it lead to another conversation and another. Since he’s a friend of a close friend of mine, I just knew I could trust him. Cewah, but really. I met him at klcc a few months after, during the edufair.
Privacy please.
Since im all grown up (mentally lah konon, but not physically obviously) my parents expect me to know myself what are the good and the bad things on the internet. Im already 19, so yes I do know, I should know. Anyway that’s one of the things that I like about my parents, they respect me and my privacy. But then again, my mum doesn’t like me going online for too long, it makes me unproductive and lazy as she say it. She does have a point.
Basically the internet has made my life easier to keep in touch with my friends, even more the ones faraway from me and it help me find my long lost friends, my friends back in my childhood. Cool lah tu.

money makes the world go round.
true, true. in these days, without money we can go nowhere. money guarantees happiness to some people. it is also the same in my case. money certainly is important for me, without it my parents could've not afford to give us proper education, shelter, cloths and food. without it, life would be hard. we'd be eating cucumber everyday. even cucumber's expensive these days.
my mum a part time housewife, part time teacher, the pay isnt much but it is enough to pay for grocery shopping and my kid brother and sister's revision book. im grateful for that. my dad's the real backbone of our family. he works hard to gain money to pay for everything we have today. thank you abah and mak for that, we as your children appreciate it much and will soon repay your deed.
much visit to baskin robbin for ice cream treats doesnt make any different for when you ask for a job at baskin. eat as many pint of ice cream you want, but if the job isnt meant for you then you wont get the spot still. well, i applied there but until now i've never heard any news from them. that's my second job application that got rejected. haha. so much for making money, getting part time job to satisfy my shopping craves. nevermind that, i've accept the rejection already and dont worry i dont hold a grudge against you baskin robbin. all is good, all is cool. (nasib baik ice cream kau sedap kalau tak memang aku ban sampai esok. haha)
no money no talk yea.
im always the kind who spend spend spend every penny every cent there is in my wallet, that isnt a good thing when it comes to things that i want like gila la kan? so usually, for super important duper expensive stuff, i'd save up a bit and do a loan with ahlong. no, no. you get that wrong. i mean along, my eldest sister. she's a real money lender, that usually (only actually) works when she just got her paycheck, all rich she smells like rm100 notes. at that moment, like king midas everything she touches turns into gold. haha.
no play makes jack a dull boy.
in work, you have to be discpline. when it's time to work, you work lah. be punctual, dont procrastinate your work. work ethic is important, do everything right and you just might get to be employee of the year. yeehaa lah. it's important that everyone have a work ethic and follow it so that your future will be brighter and you'll get to live prosperouslyyyy.
economy.
well im ignorant i dont know much about economy. what i heard from a friend is that US is having economy problem and for that it had affected the economy in Malaysia as well. as to what's in the news, our economy's starting to improve. it's weird thou, during the economy downturn, of what i see in shopping malls during that time it doesnt seem like we're having any economy issues. everyone's spending money like they grow on trees. anyone has an asnwer to that?
move over, i want your job!
ice cream connoisseur.i scream for ice cream, you scream for ice cream, we scream for ice cream! who doesnt love ice cream. imagine creating your own flavor of ice cream, it's just perfect. it's fun experimenting with food. i always wanted to do that. to get a flavorful ice cream by mixing chilli and lemon. who knows it might turn out perfect. but that's just an example. you dont really have to put those things in your ice cream.
achitect. my drawing might not be pretty, but well i like imagining things. like how my house would look like. i've had a drawing of how my future house would look like for future reference. thinking ahead is good. hehe.
do you want my job?
dato B: would you like to be a politician someday kid?
A: ahh, no thank you.

i use sms instant messenger and social network like everyday to get in touch with everyone, but one thing im always caught doing would be sms-ing. i text people round the clock. the good thing about it is, it's already made available, easy to use. im using maxis youth club, it has low rates with 1 cent per sms to people within the network. so, to me texting is much cheaper and i get to 'talk' to people in just a blink, not literally. the bad thing about it as zulfadhli jamil put it, you're used to talking to people that way, you'd get a bit of a problem talking to someone face to face(if the person isnt related to you in any way).
facebook too comes in a package, there's a good and bad side of it. currently in a long holiday, i had not much to do. so most of the nights i'll sit in front of the pc, update my status on facebook, talk to people, stalk people's page. im scary i know. well now the good thing is, i can talk to people who arent within reach. it's free, so why not lah kan? the after effects would be i stayed up late + i got up late = i became unproductive.
i have facebook friendster myspace twitter and i cant remember what else. but the active one would be just facebook. pretty much everyone has a myspace/friendster account back then. i used that back when im in high school but now since im using facebook, the other two are left up on the shelf, all dusty and waiting for time to die. my friends on these social networking sites are quite much because they are my friends from primary school until now in uniten. there are a few people in the list which i dont exactly know since they are other people's friends who added me up but im open to meet new people.
in my opinion meeting people face to face is better since well it's just better eventhou to me, it'll be quite awkward in the beginning.

-eat ice cream, pancakes, more ice cream, more pancakes and waffles
-plan a super 'sweet' 20 birthday for someone.
your favourite outfit/set of clothes
i've always wanted to try the vintage style but then it's the in-thing currently, so pretty much everyone is putting on the old school attitude. i dont think i'd like to add up to that population.

the must have, very wajib thing in every set of outfit i wear, my white tudung and my flip flop. i always put those on, except for certain times. i like clashing colors.usually i'd wear a tshirt and cardigan paired with either cargo pants, jeans or plain black pants. sometimes if im not wearing a cardi, you'd find me wearing layers of shirt, a long sleeve inner and short sleeve on the outside. well that's pretty much sums up my daily outfit.
favourite gadget collections toys thing that you cant live without

my phone: connects me to people.
my laptop/home pc: entertainment source.
my cats: cheers me up.

entertain me, entertain you.
i watch pretty much anything there is on tv. house, man vs food, the oprah winfrey show, desperate housewives and the list goes on and on. im a tv junkie even more now that im on a 3 month holiday. i rarely watch videos on youtube since sometimes my internet could be so slow. i hate waiting for videos to buffer.
music and fashion, they always come together. they are also something to love. i like cutting and putting up pictures of something that i find nice, to my liking on the inside of my wardrobe door. mostly i update myself by reading magazines, going window shopping, watching fashion related tv shows and browsing e-shops. that way i'd know what's in and what's out. it's good to keep myself updated but i certainly am not a follower. i wear what seems to look nice to my eyes and makes me feel comfortable.
most of the music i listen to is introduced by friends, friends' of friends, discovered in newspaper and magazine. my friends would sometimes get me cds of my favourite singer/band. i'd usually download the whole album of pretty much every band/singer that i know. so in my leisure time i'd listen to one after another and then decide what's worth listening and what's not.
im into pretty much much bands and singers right now, but if i were to recommend something worth listening it'd most probably something by taking back sunday(louder now 2006 album), the bird and the bees(ray guns are not just the future 2009 album), she & him(volume two 2010 album), the king blues(save the world get the girl 2008 album). why you should listen to them? simply saying, every each of them are just awesome. they totally rock my socks off.
books are a must have. they fill the unnecessary time wasted when im at a train station, waiting for the super slow commuter to arrive. but that certainly isnt the only time i do my reading. i used to rent books somewhere in subang, i cant remember when. the last few months i got too caught up with exams and assignment i didnt get to read much non-class related books.
my last three books would be dear john(author nicholas sparks), mistakes in the background(author laura dockrill) and totto chan(author tetsuko kuroyanagi). i didnt have enough money to buy a book at the time, so i read dear john on the floor of MPH. sadly i only managed to read until page .. 75 if im not mistaken. for the other two, i've had them for 2 or 3 years already. i've read it but, i am still reading it over and over again. it never failed to made me laugh each time i read it, as if they were new books i just started reading.

victory is in our hands jyeah !
to me anyone who tried doing something, who rises after a fall, who never gives up is successful. take the guy who did the light thing, what's his name again? i cant remember. nevermind that. the thing is he did a 1000 experiment before he actually succeeded right? dont you dare call him a loser if he didnt make it, the light i mean. he might not make things work but to me the much effort he put into it already put him in the successful people category(if things doesnt work out). but good thing he succeeded eh or else we'd survive night time using candles and well, oil lamps only.
so far, i've succeeded in making the perfect, ideal lemon tea?
with the right proportion of lemon and tea and sugar, all will turn out good. belieeeeeve me. :D im not exactly good at cooking. i am always burning down the kitchen, well not exactly. just the wok and kettle, it happened even before i could start cooking. haha. thinking of it, it is funny. i might be an engineer to be but seriously saying i want to follow my mum's footstep. at least to know the simple cooking is enough for me to actually feed decent food to my future husband and kids lah. haha. i wouldnt want them to eat timun everyday, that would be inappropriate. my mum she's the role model, she's a great cook, and so is my other too older sisters. i guess my best achievement in cooking would be .. cooking spaghetti. with a few help from the experts of course :p
goals and ambitions
i've never made a short term or long term life planning. but recently someone inspired me to actually make one. hihi. you know who you are and i know you hate me saying the hihi that's why im repeating it again and again here. ok back to business, here's the plan. the main 3 goals : get a good job, get married, have an ice cream company.
hopefully everything worked as planned, InsyaAllah.

so far, i've succeeded in making the perfect, ideal lemon tea?
with the right proportion of lemon and tea and sugar, all will turn out good. belieeeeeve me. :D im not exactly good at cooking. i am always burning down the kitchen, well not exactly. just the wok and kettle, it happened even before i could start cooking. haha. thinking of it, it is funny. i might be an engineer to be but seriously saying i want to follow my mum's footstep. at least to know the simple cooking is enough for me to actually feed decent food to my future husband and kids lah. haha. i wouldnt want them to eat timun everyday, that would be inappropriate. my mum she's the role model, she's a great cook, and so is my other too older sisters. i guess my best achievement in cooking would be .. cooking spaghetti. with a few help from the experts of course :p goals and ambitions
i've never made a short term or long term life planning. but recently someone inspired me to actually make one. hihi. you know who you are and i know you hate me saying the hihi that's why im repeating it again and again here. ok back to business, here's the plan. the main 3 goals : get a good job, get married, have an ice cream company.
hopefully everything worked as planned, InsyaAllah.
02.
family.
i usually get the "WHAAAAT?" look from people when i tell them about my family. they are all so shocked to know the i've got 7 siblings. they'd say things like "WHOA SO MANY LA." well people, 7 is not that many lah. to explain one by one about everyone would make this a lengthy post, so i'll try to make it brief.

dad work as engineer. he's a quiet man. he only speaks when needed but once he joke around he'll crack you up real much. koi fish and gardening are his passion. mum's a housewife. she's a real talker. (it's always like that in marriage dont you think? one would be the antonym of another) she's like a discoverer always into learning new things. her best achievement so far would be her chocolate cake. everyone loves it, have a taste and you'd crave for more.
01. moira, the eldest sister. she works with shit. haha no kidding. she's an engineer working with indah water. she's the next best cook in the house. she makes the most delicious lasagna, yumm.*drool* 02. adlina, the second daughter. she's nice, she's also the head chef, after my mother. she's usually the one cooking dinner for everyone on weekends.
04. aqilah, the not so kid sister. she's studying in a boarding school. she's real loud, and mesra alam too. by mesra alam i mean she's friendly. she can be friends with everyone no matter how little or how old they are. if you notice i skipped 3 because, im number 3. to think of it everyone in the family's a real good cook, except for me -.-"im only good at making lemon tea.
05. afiqah 06. izzat 07. ariff (names mentioned according to age) are the 3 mischievious elves. they are always making chaos, making a mess everywhere in the house. it takes 3 long hours to actually clean the whole house, but it only take them 2 minutes to turn the house into a ship-wreck.
my cats, cumi ciki cici oreo (the other 4 are cici's kids all yet to be named). they are very playful and mischiveous always up to something no good like ruining my mum's favourite sofa. haha.
ahoyy matey!
my best mates, my girlfriends and boyfriends are idzaati marlan, amalia zabidi. zulfadhli jamil and arif wajidi. these people never failed to make my day.
idzaati is my class buddy, people are always calling us twins because we are quite the same height, we can be find together wherever we are and we always wear color coordinated everyday, not that we planned to. she's also my housemate before and yet to be in uni. she's shy, polite and well nice and wise. she's the total opposite of me. she's not into outings and stuff so the only times we hangout would be before, in and after classes.

arif wajidi, my best chum we are the super lame combo. his interest is pretty much 99% the same as mine. he's into music, books, cooking and artsy fartsy stuff. the only different thing about us is that he likes kamen rider but im into ironman more. i really cant understand the kamen rider part. haha. our first conversation is about amy winehouse. we used to spend endless hours visiting art galleries, annexe and bookstores on the weekends. to speak of the truth i think he's a cool dude, a true rockstar with brains.
amalia zabidi, she's a former housemate too, and a loyal shopping buddy and occasionally a movie buddy too. she took a different course in uni so we usually meet up for makan-makan and sometimes we'd go out to shopping malls, well to do some shopping when there is money lah of course. no money no talk. that's our motto. haha our past time would be to update each other with the latest in-uni gossips. haha. girls would be girls.
zulfadhli jamil, my other half we are the kaki jalan. the ever so loyal playmate, movie buddy, ice cream hunter. we are incomplete without each other. cewah. haha. movie addicts, that's us. we are usually to be found lining up at cinemas buying tickets to watch the latest movie. if there is a prize to be given for the most loyal movie goers, i think we'd surely win first place. eventhou he's always pretending to be the matured one, he's secretly a kid at heart. we like going to bookstores, simply to play hide and seek or than reading interesting but incomprehensive japanese craft magazine. we do trips to mcd for the sake of doing an ice cream eating competition. he is certainly a fun dude to hangout with.
lets be friends yo !
well i would be very shy, i'd be polite. that certainly is not me but i wouldnt want to make a bad impression about myself surelybe warned, you do not want to make some random funny jokes coz if it's real funny you might get a heart attack from listening to my loud laugh. it sounds like i dont know, a horse maybe? and you might want to repeat your name again and again thou because im a sucker for people's name. my brain has low memory storage. i might forget your name in the next 5 minutes. haha. seriously im that forgetful. i may look serious and garang but feel free to approach me, say hi. i dont bite, i am certainly a friendly panda (:
religion and friends.
with multiple races in Malaysia you'd certainly find multiple religions too. there's brinda, she's hindu. and there's justin lim, he's christian if im not mistaken. and the list goes on and on. those are my friends. making friends is a good thing, so i never let religion puts the limit to whom im befriending with.
labels, labels, labels.
there might be some of the crowd around me that's totaaaally into kpop and jpop, computers games and metal music etc but that never made me put label on people. i mean what's the use of this labels? it's like putting people into jars and sticking labels as so to easily identify them. fine you say everyone is different but they arent pickles and aliens or such. they certainly and always will look like a bunch of homosapiens to me so there's no need to categorize them people.

01.

hello, im miss anonymous.
well, this feels weird. how should i start this? im alya zamri and im 1/3 human, 1/3 panda, 1/3 whale. save the almost extinct animals, rawr. ok ignore that. most people call me alya c, c stands for chan but just plain alya is just fine. not so anonymous now i guess? currently im taking civil engineering in Uniten Bangi. briefly saying, i am pretty much random and unpredictable, i have cicakophobia. i like cats, artsy fartsy stuff, good books, food, fine music and robert downey jr as well as johny depp.
fear and phobias.
fear me for i am a dinesor kenit and so am i the king of donuts. bow down to your king people. haha ok not funny. my biggest fear would be losing my loved ones whoever they are. family members, friends, cats. they are the one im closed to. the thought of not having them around, not getting to see them like forever and after is just unbearable. i try not to think of it much everyday.
next in line would be getting tailed and chase about. yes i fear that. what do you call that kind of phobia? i dont know myself. when i was little i used to get dreams, dreams of being chased by bad guys/ghosts/toys who wanted to kidnap/kill me. funny much huh but that's pretty petrifying for a 7 year old okay. even now im in my teens once in a while i still get those kind of dream, it wakes me up at midnights nervous much. such dream has actually affected my life now. i get pretty nervous knowing that something or someone is chasing me. even my cat makes me nervous. he's very manja but he likes playing chase with me. chasing me like a tiger, just about to pounce on it's prey. it is scary but to look at it from a different view, my fear actually helps me exercise a bit. hehe.
happy pills.
my cats and family. why did i combine those two together? it's because i consider all 8 cats of mine as family. my parents, my siblings, my cats. regardless of how sometimes they can be quite annoyingly yet still i found them to be charmingly adorable and fun to be around. i adore them.
money. well they say money makes the world go round. hehe.
boyfriends and girlfriends. they make my day everyday. we joke we fight we reconsile we love each other. this goes to my best chums, idzaati marlan, amalia zabidi, zulfadhli jamil and arif wajidi.
ice cream. well what's not to love about ice cream? i always say yes to ice cream except for when i am very full.
greggory house from the series house. believe it or not i find him very interesting. his sarcasm delivered in a humorous way, that always made me laugh.
babies and kiddies. say yes to them. they are certainly adorable when they arent crying. looking at them playing around, giggling to theirselves certainly would put a smile on my face. they really do know how to have fun.
youth & the future.
i am not sure what's the best thing about being youth today. maybe because back then, there's no baskin robin. the only way you can actually enjoy good ice cream is by making one. now there is like hundreds of baskin robbin outlet all over malaysia. well, that's convenient for an ice-creamholic like me if there is such a term.
ok im kidding. back then, our parents, grandparents, ancestors they had two jobs. one is to fight for freedom and at the same time work to earn money for a living, to provide the youngs with the necessities needed. the result is what we see, we gain today. today, we dont have to actually fight a war against japan or british or something. the old folks, they had laid the path for us, make things a lot more easier for us. that, to me would be the best thing about being youth today.
in regards of our future, looking at how things are right now the only thing i can say about it is that the future looks bleak. two things that worries me a lot would be the environmental issues and the lack of morality in youth nowadays.
do you notice how unpredictable the weather is now? how a day could be so hot you just wish you could bury your face in an ice tub and suddenly without notice it would rain like cats and dogs. that is not good! cewah, macam konon garang. but really people, this is serious. global warming is attacking earth, people. ice in the antartics are melting down at an incredibly shocking rate, sea level is increasing rapidly. watch more of national geography and discovery chanel and you would know. if things continue to be as they are now there will be a huge flood which will surely drown us all. dont laugh this isnt a joke this is true.
Malaysia as we know it isnt so big. even a small tsunami that hit us in 2006 has affected much of our lives, what would something this big would do to earth? we must do something to prevent this. avoid using airconds even when it gets so hot, the fan would do much good and open the windows for a better air ventilation. switch off the electric appliances when not using it. the little things you do makes a difference.
if you are alert of what's been happening around us, what's written in our newspapers today, of some which had made headline, we can actually see how our youth today has lost most of their moral values. babies abandoned, thrown away into dumpsite, as if they arent living things. youngsters involved in drugs, robbery, illegal racing, cutting school and such, these things are clouding their future. with the ever growing rate of morality lack actions how do you think Malaysia would look like in another 5 or 10 years? can you imagine these kind of people as leaders of our country?
well, everything is for you to decide. so make the right choice, think of a brighter future for our generation.
everyone's a rebel at heart.
teenagers will always be teenagers. simply said, know it or not everyone's a rebel at heart. youth of my group age is especially the wild souls yet to be tamed. cewah. hehe. it would be a big fat lie to say im not a rebel myself. in my case im against my parents. i am afraid of my dad, so pretty much the rebelling are done against my mum. sorry about that mak, but you'll find me doing that again and again.
if we are talking based on experience, i've a lot to tell. my parents arent the lenient kind who give much freedom to all of their kids. they have boundaries to whatever there is to put boundaries. im always jealous of other people, to be exact my friends. they are always found doing things like trip to pangkor lah, hangout at dome klcc lah, going to art exhibiton at pasar seni lah, moshing at gigs lah. they had the freedom that i dont have.
i always get caught fighting over this matter with my mum. everytime i asked for mak's permission to go places with a bunch of friends, she'll say things like "bukan haritu dah keluar?" when in fact, the time she's refering is a month before. that always gets me so angry and sometimes i'd lie to her, going places without my parents knowing it. i regret that, i sure do.
as i grow up, i've learnt more things about what my parents are trying to do. parents they put limits to things we do because basically, they love us. precaution is better than cure? in this case, to take precaution is better than hearing bad news. to hear that you are safe at home is better than to know that you were shot because you got mugged by some bad ass. it's much better to not learn things the hard way dont you think.
life today as i see it
definitely much easier in comparison to my parents period of time. as i've mentioned before, we had our paths laid in front of us, the only thing we had to do is make a choice. to study hard, get a good job live well or drop out of school, unemployed and live miserably. take your pick.
our past generations, they had it hard for them. they dont have the commodity as like what we do. they had to walk bare-footed to school just to make sure that their shoes are clean as they get to school. they had to work under the sun, helping their parents in paddy fields and estates as to obtain money to pay the bills, school fees and such. not forgetting during the old times, people dont have the technology, the smart electronics to help do their daily chores.
the youth today doesnt need to do such things anymore. the road are tar roads, we can walk to school without having to worry about having leeches sucking blood like vampires on your legs, mud on your school uniforms. if walking is tiring, you can actually go to school by bus or train or car. so what's your reason to cut classes? parents work hard as so to provide all the basic necessities, to make living much better. so how is that not easy for us as their children? and then we have all the electronics stuff and fancy technology that surely improve our lives in all aspects there is. vacuum cleaner substitutes broom and dustpan, airconditioner in exchange with fans, cellphones as an alternate to phone, letters and telegram. these are only a few examples that i can think of for the moment. so now if you may, tell me how is our life harder than the past generations again?
like a wheel, there are ups and downs.
in life there are always good days and bad days. my biggest downfall would be when i was in high school. to be exact would be when i was in form 4 and form 5.
back in school, being a PTS student, i jumped a grade that was something to be proud of, getting good scores for UPSR and PMR that felt good too. at 16 i already sat for my SPM. but i made a bad choice, taking things for granted, being all comfortable in my comfort zone. i played a lot throughout the whole two years, i sleep in classes, i was easily influenced into rebelling against my teachers, i do bad things to people. well i guess it's karma. what goes around goes around.
all the things i did affected my spm result. as i read my result slip, i was shocked. it was the worst ever. i felt embarassed of myself, to my family, my friends and the teachers. with that kind of result, there isnt much choice to pick for my future. i regret everything i did, i wish i could turn back time and amend all the wrong doing but that isnt possible. that really is a lesson to be learnt. i deserve it. my downfall actually teaches me not to take things for granted.
family or friends?

life is like christmas. family is like a christmas tree. family is the basic thing we should need to celebrate christmas. my family is my first priority, they are the ones closed to me, the ones i grow up with. without my parents i wouldnt have existed, without my siblings i am pretty much nothing.
friends are second in the list. being second doesnt make them less important. they are like the decorative items we put on the christmas tree. they are the ornaments, the shiny ribbons, the colourful lights. a christmas tree without all this sort of thing would be just a plain christmas tree. and so is life. life without friends would be dull. they are the ones spicing things up, making life more colourful more adventureous more interesting.
family and friends, we need both of them. it would be hard making a choice, good thing i never had encounter anything that needs picking either one.
